One lane of Interstate 77 will remain closed until 5 p.m. Thursday.

The Ohio Department of Transportation said the right lane of I-77 northbound at Pleasant Valley Road is closed because a grate covering a catch basin in the vicinity failed, exposing a dangerous and unavoidable opening in the pavement in the right driving lane. Delays are expected in the area. ODOT suggests drivers take alternate routes and give themselves more time to reach their destinations, especially those going to the noon Indians game.

Ok ok ok…so we are moving in the direction of the “Smart Car”.
